RIT Tennis Club

In April 2022, I was approached by the RIT Tennis Club to help them design a t-shirt with a new primary club logo for the front and an emblem for the back. As a proud member of the club, I happily agreed, and was appointed their honorary graphic designer. With a current logo in too bad a quality to print and wanting more than the typical RIT tiger image, the club was looking for a logo and t-shirt with a bit more visual impact. On a short deadline, my goal was to unite the Tigers and tennis in a simple yet striking way to mold a brand for the club they could continue to use across current and future applications.

PROCESS WORK

I started with traditional sketches, then moved to digital iterations after the club’s board selected a logo and t-shirt emblem concepts they liked.

BONUS: 3D VERSIONS

Personally fascinated by the 3D logos used by sports teams and sports broadcasts, I used the RIT Tennis Club designs as an opportunity to start exploring and building my 3D design skills, specifically using Blender.
